Health and Human Development Honor Society

The Health and Human Development Honor Society is devoted to honoring those who have shown commendable work habits within the College of Health and Human Development. In order to gain an invitation, a student must be at least in sophomore standing and have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Schreyer Honors College students are also automatically invited to join.

After entrance into the club, a 3.3 cumulative GPA must be maintained to stay an active member. Throughout the semester, each student is required to attend four out of the eight events held. There are four general body meetings, including guest speakers and other activities, and four social events to chose from. In addition, each member is required to complete five hours of community service hours each semester. Students may choose to get these hours through service events coordinated by the club, or they may pick their own events to volunteer at. This is a great opportunity to get more involved and meet other outstanding students in the College of Health and Human Development.
