Cook Like a Chef
For over 10 years, the College of Health and Human Development and Department of Nutritional Sciences have offered Cook Like A Chef, a summer youth camp for 11-13 year olds. Over 200 children have participated in this popular day camp held on campus.
In 2013, Home Chef, led by Chef Kristi Branstetter, was added to bring fun and educational cooking programs to adults. Chef Branstetter now offers programs during the Spring and Fall semester with a variety of themes and levels.
Home Chef Pro
During the fall of 2014, Chefs George Ruth and Jean-Pierre Ranjeva from the School of Hospitality Management offered Home Chef Pro. Participants in these programs have the opportunity to expand their skills in the newly renovated professional kitchen in Café Laura.
