Hometown: Rio Rancho, New Mexico
I am interested in health disparities in vulnerable populations generally. Specifically, I am interested in the Latino population in the topics of cancer disparities, cross-cultural communication, and patient-physician interactions.
I attended Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, with a major in Sociology and a minor in Spanish
Previously, I was recruited to help a councilman in San Antonio improve environment safety. I also worked with the San Antonio Metropolitan Health doing a chronology of public health in San Antonio.
