Penn State offers two M.H.A. programs, a residental program and an online program.
Master of Health Administration — Residential
Our CAHME accredited residential program is competency-based, focused on equipping students with the knowledge and capabilities they’ll need to lead organizations dedicated to improving health and health care.
Our alumni make a difference everyday in premier health care organizations, including Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, TeleTracking Technologies, Johns Hopkins Hospital, ARAMARK Corporation, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Geisinger Health System, among many others.
Master of Health Administration — Online
For experienced health care professionals, Penn State offers an online Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree program. The program is a collaboration between the Penn State World Campus, the Penn State Department of Health Policy and Administration, and the Penn State School of Public Affairs. This partnership connects students with faculty from our highly ranked residential MHA program, with 25 years of experience guiding student learning.
As a student in the online MHA program, you have the opportunity to learn anytime and anywhere throughout the world. You will form connections with a select cohort of students who will progress at the same pace throughout the program to maximize the learning experience.
