I am interested in long-term care, quality of care, healthcare organizations and policy.

Prior Education

I completed a Bachelor of Health Science at the University of Florida. Alongside my B.H.S., I also completed upper level courses in the sciences and Russian Culture.

Employment History

I have been a volunteer with several organizations, such as Campus Kitchens and the Community Weatherization Coalition. These organizations concentrated on helping citizens of the Gainesville community who are in need. I have also been a research assistant for the Village Interactive Training and Learning Study, which aimed to correlate elderly physical activity with increased memory. I also assisted in a study examining the effects of androgens on female Gambusia fish.

Interests/Facts about Hometown

Sarasota is on the southwestern coast of Florida. It is known for its vibrant arts community, excellent restaurants, unique shopping, and beautiful beaches. As of 2012, Sarasota is home to the No. 1 beach in the nation, Siesta Key Beach, which is known for its silky white sand. Sarasota is considered to be the cultural center of West Central Florida and is home to the John and Mable Ringling Museum and estate.
