The College of Nursing at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park) invites applications for the positions of Assistant or Associate Professor on a non-tenured, clinical professorial track. The successful candidate will have professional excellence and/or sustained contributions in the scholarship of teaching and learning and at least one other area of scholarship (i.e., research or service). Faculty will hold recognition of expertise in a clearly defined practice role. The clinical faculty bring to the University unique experiences and talents from the practice setting that will benefit our students.
The Penn State College of Nursing is among the premier academic and research enterprises in the country. The undergraduate program is offered to over 2500 students on 13 campuses. The graduate program is ranked in the top 10% of nursing schools nationwide according to the US News and World Report and offers a diverse array of master’s options and two doctoral programs, Ph.D. and D.N.P. The D.N.P. was the first online doctoral program offered by the Penn State University within our World Campus.
Required qualifications for the position include; licensure as a registered nurse, an earned doctorate in nursing (PhD or DNP) or a related health field and evidence of a commitment to work respectfully with individuals of diverse backgrounds and points of view.
