Fifteen HHD Student-Athletes Honored as Big Ten Distinguished Scholars

Fifteen student-athletes from the College of Health and Human Development are among 68 Penn State student-athletes to have been selected for the Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Award for earning a grade-point average of 3.7 or higher during the 2013-13 academic year.

Megan Boyer, a junior majoring in human development and family studies and participating in women's track and field, and Kathleen Rodden, a senior majoring in kinesiology in women's cross country/track and field, earned a perfect 4.0 grade-point average during the 2013-13 academic year.
