The Suzy and Jim Broadhurst Golf Teaching and Research Center (GTRC) is dedicated to conducting relevant research that focuses on improving player performance. We are interested in partnerships with companies and agencies which allow for opportunities to transfer research to theoretical and applied problems.

Some of our recent project collaborations include the following topics:

  • Biomechanical, ball flight, anthropometric, and athletic skill predictors of playing handicap
  • The effect of varying club head mass on ball flight quality, golfer kinematics, and swing consistency
  • Acoustic and Vibrational Analysis of Golf Club Drivers
  • Pelvis Movements in the Golf Swing for Hip Replacement Designs
  • Address Time Variability and Its Relation to Golf Performance
  • Golf Ball and Putter Testing
  • Golf Database Development for Wearable Motion Capture
