Although students are not required to complete a minor, enrollment may enhance their academic experience. The choice of a minor, if any, is the student's decision. All minors in the university are described in the current Baccalaureate Degree Programs Bulletin. Students interested in a minor must consult with the offering department, complete the form Application for Admission to a Minor Program and receive approval for admission to the program from the person in charge of the minor. Criteria for the successful completion of the minor are established by the offering department. Students must be officially in a major before they can be admitted to a minor.
