Biobehavioral Health at Penn State is designed for students who want to bring a unique perspective to health care and healing and tackle modern-day issues of health.

Why study biobehavioral health?

An innovative and interdisciplinary program, Biobehavioral Health focuses on the interaction among biological, behavioral, psychological, sociocultural, and environmental variables that influence health. By taking coursework in chemistry, biology, physiology, and genetics, students learn the “science behind health” and how to effectively address and solve a wide array of problems related to human health and illness.
