Prerequisites and Exceptions
Students registering for courses will only be allowed to register for those for which they have met the prerequisite, concurrent, or corequisite requirements, per Penn State Policy. Prerequisites for Human Development and Family Studies courses can be found on the University Bulletin.
Requests for an exception to this prerequisite policy should be submitted using the override procedures and form provided by the College of Health and Human Development. These requests will be reviewed by the HDFS adviser or undergraduate professor-in-charge. If the exception is approved, the student will be enrolled in the course.
