The Martha “Marty” Adams Undergraduate Advising Award honors and recognizes full-time undergraduate advisors in the College of Health and Human Development who focus on student’s personal and professional development through academic and career advising.

Criteria

Any full-time undergraduate academic advisors who have been employed in the College of Health and Human Development for a minimum of three-years and who demonstrate a deep commitment to students with a focus on students’ personal and professional development through academic and career advising.

Nominating Procedure

Any employee of the College or University, students, alumni, or emeritus faculty or administrators may nominate.

The nomination shall consist of the following:

Resume/vitea
A letter of support from faculty and/or the administration
A letter of support from a current student advisee or an alumni who was an advisee

Award

The recipient shall receive a monetary award and a plaque.

Deadline

Nominations are due on Wednesday, May 9.
