Dear HHD Alumni Board members:

We are looking forward to seeing you at the College of Health and Human Development Alumni Society board of directors meeting on November 1 and 2, 2019. The executive committee of the board, and our HHD Development and Alumni Relations Team, are hard at work to ensure a productive and enjoyable meeting with opportunities for you to learn more about our College, interact with fellow Board members, and accomplish important work on behalf of all alumni of the College.

Hotel Reservations

First and foremost, please make your hotel reservations as soon as possible. You are welcome to stay at any hotel; however, a block of rooms has been reserved at The Nittany Lion Inn for board members. The cost is $139/single occupancy, exclusive of tax. In order to receive this rate, please call 800-233-7505 and ask for Reservation ID # HHDA19D when you call. This room block will be released to the general public on Monday, September 30, so please make your reservations now. If you are a graduate of the last five years, then the College will pay for your lodging. Please contact Lindsey Zapletal (814-867-4312, lmz13@psu.edu) with your arrival and departure dates and she will make your reservation for you.

Attire

Attire for the board meeting will be casual for the meeting and tour of Shaver's Creek on Friday, business attire for Friday evening's awards reception and dinner, and business casual on Saturday. Please note on the agenda, that board member photos will be taken first thing Friday morning, so please dress accordingly for your head shot and bring casual clothes to change, if you'd like.
