Improving human health and expanding access to vital services requires collaboration with public health and human service agencies to develop and implement new ways of delivering effective and affordable care.

To that end, Penn State’s Center for Health Care Policy Research takes an interdisciplinary team approach to creating and disseminating new scientific knowledge that helps private and public decision-makers create accessible services and programs that improve people's health.

With more than $800 million in annual research expenditures, Penn State ranks among the top 20 U.S. research universities, and is one of only two institutions in the nation accorded land grant, sea grant, sun grant, and space grant status.

As researchers, we look to serve our community, both locally and globally, with innovative breakthroughs and significant discoveries that make real-world change for the better.
