Leadership Initiative

The Health and Human Development Emerging Leaders Initiative for 2024 is a pilot program to renew the college’s commitment to provide opportunities for emerging leaders to develop the core values, attitudes and competencies that are the foundation of quality leadership.

Building on the original Women’s Leadership Initiative, conceptualized and supported by alumni of the college and leaders throughout the nation, the pilot program will seek to expand opportunities for a diverse group of student leaders.

Participants will emerge from the initiative with an enhanced knowledge of their own leadership capacity, an ability to identify and develop the leadership capacity of others, and an understanding of the key dimensions of leadership in diverse cultures and contexts.
