- Health Sciences Option
The Health Sciences option is for students seeking a strong foundation in nutrition science who want to understand how to apply its principles within health-related fields. This degree option is for those pursuing pre-health pathways and interested in integrating nutrition into clinical, community, or policy-based careers.
This flexible and customizable pathway lets you shape your academic journey around your goals, allowing students to align their coursework with their interest in public health, health policy, community health, and social services. It also prepares you for graduate and professional study in clinical disciplines, including medicine, nursing, dentistry, physician assistant programs, physical therapy, and biomedical research.
The Health Sciences Option equips you with the knowledge and skills necessary for addressing complex health challenges through a nutrition-focused lens.
