College of Health and Human Development announces 2017 faculty, staff awards

The College of Health and Human Development announced recipients of its 2017 Faculty and Staff Awards. A reception honoring the awardees was held Nov. 15 in the Bennett Pierce Living Center in Henderson Building at Penn State University Park.

Penn State Hotel & Restaurant Society to honor Marriott CEO at gala reception

The Penn State School of Hospitality Management in the College of Health and Human Development and The Penn State Hotel & Restaurant Society, have named Arne Sorenson, president and CEO of Marriott International, as the 2018 Hospitality Executive of the Year. The University will honor Sorenson at a reception at the historic Nittany Lion Inn on April 12, 2018.
