Before arriving for your NSO visit, here are a few things we recommend:

  1. Make sure you do your pre-NSO homework to explore your academic choices . Bring a copy of your homework, your transfer credit worksheet, and the Recommended Academic Plan (RAP) for your intended major to NSO. RAPs and additional information for HHD majors can be found at HHD Baccalaureate Degree Programs.
  2. Your pre-NSO homework provides a Course Registration Overview. We encourage you to complete these modules prior to your NSO visit. You will work with an HHD adviser to develop your fall (and summer if applicable) schedule during the College Advising Meeting on Day 2.
  3. Many students benefit from a first-year experience that helps connect them to other new students. In HHD we offer several programs like this. We encourage you to review these programs and talk about them with your parents. You can choose to enroll in these programs during NSO or follow up and enroll later.
