Michael Crawford '07 BBH: Physician Assistant
Michael Crawford grew up in Bedford, PA where he was raised by a single mother who always encouraged him to reach for the stars. He received his master’s degree in Physician Assistant Sciences from Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA, in 2009. He currently works for Mount Nittany Physician Group in State College as an endocrinology physician assistant. He has been at this position since October 2019 and continues to learn every day. He has previous experience in Neurology, Primary Care, Urgent Care, Cardiology and Hospital Medicine. He has participated in the college of Health and Human Development’s Alumni Mentoring Program nearly every year since his graduation from Penn State in 2007. He and his partner live in Duncansville, PA and share their 30-acre property with a menagerie of rescue animals.

Allison Hedin '17 KINES: Physician Assistant
Allison Hedin is a neurosurgery physician assistant at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. This is her first position as a PA. She received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Thomas Jefferson University in August 2019.

Casey Sinex '14 BBH: Physical Therapist
Casey Sinex is a per diem physical therapist at Premier Orthopedics. Previously, she worked full time at Premier Orthopedics for two years. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Thomas Jefferson University in 2017. She is currently taking a pelvic floor course to start transitioning into pelvic health PT.

Jill Steiner '05 BBH: Cardiologist
Jill Steiner (BBH '05, MD '10) is a cardiologist at the University of Washington specializing in adult congenital heart disease and palliative care research. She earned her medical degree at Penn State (2010) and completed her Internal Medicine residency training at Georgetown University (2013). She subsequently moved to Seattle, WA, where she completed her fellowship training in cardiovascular disease (2017), palliative care research (2018), and adult congenital heart disease (2019), and earned a Master of Science in Epidemiology (2018) at the University of Washington. Her long-term goals include teaching medical students and other trainees while also conducting clinical research and treating an active patient population. She remains connected to Penn State through the Alumni Association, HHD Women's Leadership Initiative, and the HHD Philanthropy Council.
