Impacts of abuse can extend into later life

Health and Human Development researchers have been studying how childhood sexual abuse can lead to problems later in life. Recently, John Felt of the Center for Healthy Aging led a team that found that biological aging is associated with lower abilities to understand language in adulthood for those experiencing childhood abuse.
