New research from Department of Biobehavioral Health demonstrated how wearable sensors can augment researchers’ understanding of when alcohol intoxication will lead to negative consequences. The researchers measured drinking using an ankle bracelet that detects alcohol concentration from imperceptible amounts of sweat.
