Community Advisory Board

Our Mission

The overall mission of the Community Advisory Board is to facilitate communication exchange between researchers and community members, to ultimately help inform:

• how aging-related research is conducted
• how best to communicate about aging research and help ensure that diverse community members are included in research
• how to find ways to strengthen the community

Our Stakeholders

The Board is supported by the Center for Healthy Aging at Penn State, in collaboration with Penn State Harrisburg and the College of Health and Human Development at Penn State (University Park).

Who We Are

The Harrisburg Community Advisory Board is composed of community members from the greater Harrisburg area, and includes small business owners, aging professionals, and religious and community leaders in multiple domains.
