Healthy Aging Community Lecture Series
The Healthy Aging Community Lecture Series offers topics and content that is translated from current research findings about healthy aging. Lectures are structured to connect faculty expertise with community members to make sense of science for everyday use and living. Lectures are held in community spaces and are free to attend.
The lecture series is a partnership among Foxdale Village, Juniper, The Village at Penn State, and Penn State Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI).

Want to stop letting fear get in the way of doing things that you want to do? This talk explores why approaching things that make us anxious is good for our health and quality of life. We will highlight how social support makes it easier to approach uncomfortable situations rather than avoid them and why this can lead to improved individual well-being and more satisfying relationships.
