New course partners with State College Food Bank to promote service and learning
Danielle Rhubart is teaching a new course designed to provide needed service in the community and enhance students' educational experience. Students spend time assisting clients and helping manage donations at the Food Bank, as well as reflecting on their time volunteering and how it relates to the health topics they are learning in their traditional coursework.
