Eric oversees all of the functions of the Golf Teaching & Research Center, including research projects, player development programs, club fittings, golf instruction classes for the Penn State PGA Golf Management students, and detailed swing analysis for the general public.

Eric Handley is a faculty member as a Senior Instructor within The Pennsylvania State University’s PGA Golf Management program and Director of the Penn State Golf Teaching & Research Center (GTRC). Prior to arriving at Penn State in 2005, Eric earned his Master’s Degree from NC State University while also serving as a Golf Professional at private country clubs in Durham, NC and Duluth, GA.
As part of the PGA Golf Management’s player development programs, Mr. Handley coordinates a comprehensive player performance program that includes six PGA Professionals and collaborations with the Penn State Department of Kinesiology and Penn State Athletics
