Welcome to the College of Health and Human Development!

The New Student Orientation (NSO) program, run by Penn State's Office for Student Orientation and Transition Programs, is designed to help you prepare for a successful start at Penn State. You will learn more about the Penn State community, academic and co-curricular expectations and opportunities, and ways to begin meeting your education goals.

All incoming first-year students are required to participate in this program, which is offered from the middle of May until the end of July each year. If you have already accepted your admission offer from Penn State, use the link above to get more information about NSO. Prior to coming for NSO, you must complete the educational survey which you can find from the NSO link.

During NSO, you will have a chance to meet with our College of Health and Human Development (HHD) advisers and select your first schedule of classes. For more information, check out the links below.
