My research focuses on the intersection of cognitive control, bilingualism, and neurological language disorders. I'm particularly interested in understanding how cognitive control mechanisms function in bilingual adults with and without language disorders. My work emphasizes optimizing aphasia treatment to achieve the best possible generalization in the least amount of time and cost. Treatment generalization is a crucial component of effective aphasia intervention and a central theme in my research on adult neurogenic communication disorders.
