Johnathan Borland
Johnathan M. Borland, Ph.D is starting a research laboratory that investigates the neuronal mechanisms that regulate the rewarding properties of different types of social behaviors. The lab is particularly interested in mechanisms in the mesolimbic dopamine circuit using both male and female Syrian hamsters. This research aims to improve treatment strategies for neurological and psychiatric disorders characterized by deficits in the social domain.
