Kristen joined CCOR with a B.S. and Master's degrees from Penn State's Nutritional Sciences Program and was a recipient of the Childhood Obesity Prevention Training grant. She assists with recruiting and data collection for studies involving human subjects by interview, telephone, and questionnaire; delivering nutrition education and outreach for obesity prevention programs and interventions; assisting with development, administration, and evaluation of obesity prevention interventions and studies; maintaining IRB records; assisting with preparation of manuscripts, grants, and materials for presentations; attending CCOR meetings; training and supervising subordinate staff that may include wage employees and/or students; and interacting with preschool staff, child care providers, and staff from community partner agencies/entities.
