Rachel’s research focuses on improving literacy outcomes for individuals who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She is especially interested in bridging the gap between research and clinical practice, with a focus on community outreach, professional training for educational staff, and collaborating with school teams to implement evidence-based literacy instruction.
