Zhang was formerly a faculty member at Oklahoma State University (Stillwater, OK), teaching primarily Phonetics, Anatomy & Physiology of the Speech Mechanism, Speech Science, and Introduction to Research.
His research interests revolve around speech perception and spoken word recognition in monolingual and bilingual populations when faced with talker variability.
