Rhoda Moise

Rhoda Moise, Ph.D., CYT (Dr. Rho, she/her/li/ella/elle), is a global health scientist, artist, and educator dedicated to helping communities live their healthiest lives. She earned her B.S. in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State and a Ph.D. in Prevention Science and Community Health from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Rho also completed a 200-hour certification in Ancient Egyptian yoga and a postdoctoral fellowship at Temple University's Fox Chase Cancer Center. She is currently a Social and Behavioral Scientist Administrator at the NIH, focusing on chronic disease prevention and health system transformation.
Born in Philadelphia to Haitian immigrants, Dr. Rho was shaped by early experiences witnessing the impacts of chronic disease on her family and community. This inspired her to found Dr. Rho Wellness, a health and wellness firm offering consulting, training, and speaking services in various settings globally. Her soulful and scientific approach fosters collaborations that promote wellness in diverse institutions.
Dr. Rho has received numerous honors, including the PRIDE NIH Training Program (2022), Aseemkala Health Research Fellowship (2021), Barrett Prize (2020), McKnight Doctoral Fellowship (2015), and Edward A. Bouchet Honors Society induction (2018). She has captivated audiences with her interactive speaking style, offering premium wellness training experiences for individuals and institutions alike.
