Research Interests

Seth a Ph.D. student in Human Development and Family Studies at Penn State, specializing in individual development and methodology. His work focuses on quantitative approaches to understanding behavioral, cognitive, and health processes across time.

His methodological interests include intensive longitudinal and multilevel modeling, structural equation and latent variable modeling, psychometrics, simulation-based methods, and reproducible data analysis. He primarily works in R and is developing additional expertise in Python.

Seth's research background spans cognitive aging, neuropsychology, acculturation, psychometrics, and institutional research. Before beginning his Ph.D., Seth completed an MA in Clinical Psychology and worked extensively with large datasets, statistical modeling, data management, and quantitative research.

He is interested in research collaboration, quantitative methodology, behavioral data science, and applying advanced statistical methods to complex longitudinal data.
