Amber Vesnesky
Amber delivers SNAP-Ed approved curricula to low–income families at Head Start Child Care settings and WIC Clinic sites, interacting and coordinating with program partners in the community and staff in Huntingdon, Snyder, Union and Mifflin counties.

Amber joined the CCOR staff in November of 2017. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management from Penn State University. Her role with CCOR includes delivering TRACKS-approved curricula to low–income families at Head Start Child Care settings, and WIC clinics in Snyder, Union and Mifflin counties, interacting and coordinating with program partners in the community and staff at program site locations, preparing nutrition education lesson plans and educational materials, assisting in program planning, performing data entry, and assisting with study recruitment and data collection. Amber joins us from CenClear, where she completed nutrition assessments and delivered targeted and intentional nutrition experiences, education and resources to low-income families through weekly home visits. Amber has collaborated with programs such as Mission Nutrition and The Healthy Bodies Project and has attended nutrition-related trainings such as “I am Moving, I am Learning.”
