I am an Assistant Teaching Professor with RPTM, where I combine a passion for experiential learning with other two decades of professional and instructional experience. I am dedicated to supporting student success both in and out of the classroom.
Christopher Engeland is interested in how stress, age, gender, and hormones affect immunity, inflammation, and health. He has a particular interest in wound healing and surgical recovery, dementia, depression, and preterm birth.

Nicole Etter investigates sensorimotor control for skilled orofacial activities (speech and swallowing) in healthy aging adults and clinical populations. Additional collaborative research lines study voice in occupational voice users and people with Parkinson’s disease.
I am interested in the cultural, environmental and social factors that influence individual and societal-level health; particularly how the arts, especially music, nature, social justice and inequality affect the health of individuals and their communities.
