The main office of the department is located in 119 Health and Human Development Building on the Penn State University Park campus. Faculty, staff, and graduate students have their offices in the first, second, and ground floors of the newest building on campus (the corner of College and Pugh). HDFS faculty are also housed in the Biobehavioral Health Building and the Hendrson Building. We have access to a wide variety of resources that facilitate undergraduate and graduate education including both University and college-wide research centers and resources.

Collegewide Centers

Research centers throughout the college provide leadership in fostering research in areas at the cutting edge of Health and Human Development. These centers often provide graduate students with research experiences, workshops, consultation, and access to visiting faculty.  These include:

Computer Facilities

The University provides several large computer labs around the campus for use by students. There are departmental computers available to graduate students, and research projects provide computer access to participating students. Students have access to e-mail and the Internet and are provided with free software so that they can log on from home. Video Laboratories

The college maintains a video research lab that is equipped with state of the art video equipment for observational research.
