In addition to the core Human Development and Family Studies major requirements, students in the Developmental Science for Health Professions option complete the following:
- Science and Health Foundations (12 credits): Students can put 12 credits of their pre-health requirements into this option, including biology, organic chemistry, and anatomy and physiology (see the approved course list).
- Health and society (3 credits): BBH 407 Global Health Equity or SOC 451 Health, Disease, and Society
- Advanced Development (6 credits): Course options include infant development, gender and social development, developmental problems in childhood and adolescence, and issues in gerontology.
