Student working on location at an internship.

Are you driven by your passion for making an impact on the “big picture” of health care delivery, both here in the United States as well as across the globe?

The undergraduate Health Policy and Administration (HPA) program at Penn State provides a solid foundation for students who want to understand, shape, and positively change the future of this robust and rapidly evolving international industry.

HPA offers two flexible undergraduate options:

Available on five Penn State Campuses — four that provide residential instruction and one that allows you to complete the degree entirely online — the HPA program provides a high level of flexibility in selecting courses along with transformative hands-on learning, research, internship, and study abroad opportunities that help shape critical thinkers, well-rounded lifelong learners, and future leaders in this diverse and ever-changing field. You’ll exit the program well prepared for either advanced study or a successful career in public health, health care management, policymaking, research, and a diverse array of related fields.
