A meeting with health administrators at Mount Nittany

Integrity, empathy, leadership, and innovation — these are the values and ideals that guide the Penn State Master of Health Administration program, and those that our students aspire to uphold.

With both a residential program and an online offering, the MHA program is a competency-based program that equips students with the knowledge and capabilities they’ll need to lead organizations dedicated to improving health and health care.

Ranked as one of the best health care management programs in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report, our MHA program will prepare you for an executive position in hospitals, large group practices, long-term care, behavioral health facilities, government, and other organizations. A collaboration between the Penn State World Campus, the Penn State Department of Health Policy and Administration, and the Penn State School of Public Affairs, our online MHA degree program is designed for experienced healthcare professionals who want to be able to learn “anytime and anywhere” throughout the world.
