Through innovative research projects, our world-class faculty members and students in Health Policy and Administration (HPA) collaborate with others through many vibrant research centers and consortia at Penn State, including:

Key initiatives include health services research, health policy evaluation, health economics and outcomes research, social and cultural determinants of health, quality of care, cost-effectiveness and economic evaluation, and self-directed long-term services and support programs.

Current active projects include:

  • National inventory of publicly funded self-directed long-term service and support programs (Sciegaj) 

  • Drug plan benefit generosity and use of high-cost drugs (Jung) 

  • Cost-offsetting effects of prescription drug benefit/use (Jung)
