Nutrition and Microbiome - Singh Lab
Investigating the impact of dietary fiber interventions
Under the direction of Vishal Singh, the Nutrition and Microbiome—Singh Lab aims to identify the molecular link by which microbial fermentation-derived metabolites regulate the development of chronic inflammatory disorders. The lab seeks to develop microbiome-informed dietary fiber interventions to improve chronic inflammatory disorders — including fatty liver diseases and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) — and prevent colon cancer.
