Diet and Cardiometabolic Health Lab
Investigating dietary interventions to improve cardiometabolic outcomes
Under the direction of Kristina Petersen, the Diet and Cardiometabolic Health Laboratory studies dietary interventions to delay and prevent the onset of cardiometabolic diseases. The laboratory conducts human clinical trials to examine the effect of individual foods, bioactives, and dietary patterns on risk factors for cardiometabolic diseases. The lab also investigates different approaches to improve diet quality.
