Masters Program in CSD

Clinical training for any setting

Graduates of the Master of Science (M.S.) program in communication sciences and disorders at Penn State University Park are prepared to work as speech-language pathologists in any clinical environment, including educational, clinical, and medical settings.

Our students learn to integrate theory, current best practice, and evidence-based research to develop their clinical skills. Opportunities to practice clinical skills in hands-on training modules, our on-campus clinic, and externship experiences prime our students for success after graduation.

The Master of Science degree (M.S.) education program in speech-language pathology (residential) at The Pennsylvania State University is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 2200 Research Boulevard #310, Rockville, Maryland  20850, 800-498-2071 or 301-296-5700.

Any concerns specific to the program's accreditation status should first be addressed to the program and Penn State and then to the CAA.
