The Communication Sciences and Disorders undergraduate program at Penn State provides a holistic view of language and communication - exploring normal and disordered aspects of speech, language, and hearing in people of all ages.

Following standards set by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), our program aligns closely with the prerequisites necessary for successful acceptance into graduate programs in speech-language pathology or audiology.

This program provides unique learning and research opportunities for undergraduate students, both inside and outside of the classroom, that help shape critical thinkers, well-rounded lifelong learners, and future leaders in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Upon graduation from the program, you’ll be ready for the next step in your career path: pursuing an advanced degree.
