Mike studies interpersonal interactions involving nonspeaking or minimally speaking children.

Christine provides primary support for the MS and PhD graduate programs in CSD.
 

Jessica provides ASL/English interpreting services for the faculty/staff and student body in CSD. 

Provides comprehensive administrative support for the Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic, coordinating daily operations and supporting clients, clinical staff, faculty, and student clinicians to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery.

Jenna provides academic advising to declared majors within Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is the primary contact for CSD change of campus and transfer students.

Nicole Etter investigates sensorimotor control for skilled orofacial activities (speech and swallowing) in healthy aging adults and clinical populations. Additional collaborative research lines study voice in occupational voice users and people with Parkinson’s disease.

Jimin Lee investigates speech production and perception in people with dysarthria to enhance their verbal communication.

Carol studies different pathways that language development can take from childhood into adulthood, using behavioral and electrophysiological methods.

My work centers on speech perception and perceptual learning in adults. I am also interested in speech production, especially in circumstances wherein speakers need to make adjustments to be understood.

Chaleece Sandberg's research focuses on optimizing anomia treatment, including bilingual treatment, in aphasia. She is also interested in improving whole person rehabilitative care for people with aphasia in the areas of mental health and exercise. 

Rachel Theodore examines the perceptual and cognitive mechanisms that support listeners’ ability to dynamically adapt to structured variability in speech.

Courtney provides academic advising to majors and minors in the Department of CSD. She also manages the department's web and social media presence and weekly student newsletter.
