About Our Lab

The Diet and Cardiometabolic Health Laboratory studies dietary interventions to reduce the risk of cardiometabolic diseases. Currently, the lab is conducting studies to identify cardioprotective diets that meet the diverse needs of the U.S. population to enhance the feasibility and sustainability of the diets, as well as to address barriers to achieving a healthy diet. In addition, the lab investigates key enablers and barriers to achieving a healthy diet and formulates strategies to promote improved diet quality.
