Affiliate Program Goup (APG)

The Biobehavioral Health Affiliate Program Group (BBH APG) consists of alumni volunteers who coordinate with BBH faculty, staff, students and HHD alumni to achieve the following:

• Create Career Awareness: Participate in “Ask-Me-Anything” career panels, speed networking events, the Alumni in the Classroom speaker series and the college-wide Alumni Mentoring Program which highlight the exciting careers possible with a degree in BBH. Social media take-over events feature a “day in the life of” a diverse group of BBH alumni.
• Promote a sense of community through fun social events like alumni tailgates at Beaver stadium, football watch parties at microbreweries, and other HHD events like golf tournaments and networking happy hours.
• Recognize accomplishments by recommending outstanding BBH nominees for awards.

To do all of this well, WE NEED YOU! Please consider joining the BBH APG to enhance the experience of current BBH students and the stature of BBH as a degree program. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply since you know best the current challenges and needs of BBH students at Penn State.
