The Biomarker Core Lab can help researchers with a variety of biomarker testing on human or animal saliva, serum, plasma, urine, dried blood spots, and hair.

The Biomarker Core Lab can assist with:

  • Identifying proper sample type, collection, storage, shipping, and testing methods, and
  • Working with you to generate testing quotes for grant submissions.

Testing Options

We are a one-stop-shop. Researchers can bring us their samples, and we’ll provide them with the data. Or the lab offers fee-for-access to laboratory equipment if researchers would prefer to conduct their own assays.

Available equipment includes:

  • Biotek plate washer and Synergy 2 multi-mode microplate reader
  • Bio-Plex (BioRad) multiplex instrumentation
  • MesoScale Discovery (MSD) QuickPlex electrochemiluminescent multiplex instrumentation
