Proposal Review Criteria

Successful proposals will clearly articulate the following merit criteria:

• Intellectual merit – theoretical sophistication and novelty; methodological rigor
• Broader impact – likelihood of the project to have a sustained influence on the research field, as well as impacts on knowledge, practice, policy, and/or societal benefit.
• Feasibility – ability of the project to be completed within the designated timeframe and budget
• Team qualifications – as assessment of the investigators experience and expertise
• Potential for future funding – suitability of the project for longer-term support via external funding mechanism
