Staff Advisory Members

Sara Brennen focuses on using online and print communications to share the important work of the Edna Bennett Pierce Prevention Research Center (PRC) and its positive impact on people’s lives in Pennsylvania and beyond.

Plans and executes alumni events and programs; coordinates awards and awardee itineraries for the alumni relations program.  Serves as a representative to the HHD Alumni Society and its board of directors.  Acts as  college alumni relations staff liaison to Alumni Groups ,

Primary point of contact for staff with a focus on supporting staff employees and staff-related processes.

Responsible for supporting the communications needs of the college and its constituent units from a visual design perspective.

Elaina is primarily responsible for promotions and tenure administrative tasks and coordination, facilities coordination, CCURE swipe access and key distribution, social media postings, website updates, job postings and new hire paperwork.

Julia is a Kinesiology Academic Adviser who works with students concerning their academic plans and progress, academic schedule, post-graduate plans and a broad range of academic matters.

Manages the Nutrition and Immunity and the Lipid Mediator labs as well as coordinates the blood processing arm of the Data 4 Action study.

Corey joined Penn State in 2004 with the College of Engineering, then joined the College of Health and Human Development in 2019.  He augments the Sys Admin team to help provide and maintain the systems and services necessary to keep the College running smoothly and securely.

Laura is responsible for assisting in the development of the Pennsylvania Office of Rural Health’s annual budget and in planning expenditures.
